The 'Richmond in Mellow Gold' silk neckerchief features a repeating pattern of interlocking leaf-like forms in warm gold, soft cream and sky blue. The stylised motif creates a rhythmic, directional flow across the mid-blue background. A double border in mellow gold and fine blue completes the composition with structure and balance.
